We pride ourselves on being one of the first Green Tax Practices by utilizing state of the art technology to virtually eliminate the need to use paper in our practice! Our firm’s CFO, Buffie Purselle, is a third generation entrepreneur and tax accountant with over 12 years experience in the tax and accounting industry. Buffie is a proud member of a very large family of tax accountants. The company name Buffie the Tax Heiress embodies both Buffie’s bubbly personality and her “royal” tax lineage as the heiress to her family’s successful tax dynasty!

Like the latest “it” bag, Buffie Purselle makes tax compliance fashionable. A powerhouse tax professional for more than a decade, Buffie demystifies the daunting world of taxes with skilled, practical, and sassy guidance.

Buffie is a recognized and respected tax expert, business consultant, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. Many people recognize Buffie as a third generation member of a large Southern family of tax professionals known as the “Jackson’s of Taxes.” Buffie empowers clients through tax education, offering innovative quarterly seminars covering a wide range of tax and financial topics and is developing her own do-it-yourself tax software that will be available by January 2014. She holds professional memberships with the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the National Association of Tax Professionals.

A lifelong entrepreneur and community ambassador, Buffie created, produced, and hosted her own weekly talk show, Teen Talk, on the largest local commercial radio station in Valdosta, GA at the ripe age of 14. Eighteen years later, the show is still providing teens with a public voice. Her adult philanthropic endeavors include volunteering with The Shrine Night Shelter and Saint Francis’ Table where she prepares and serves meals for homeless men.

Buffie is happily married to Dr. David Purselle. They reside in Atlanta, Georgia and have one canine child, Fluffie, and two feline children, Leo and Jane (and hope to add a human child soon!)

We volunteer to feed homeless men dinner and breakfast at the Shrine Night Shelter and we also serve lunch for Saint Francis’ Table which feeds hundreds of homeless men per lunch service.
